Default Killdozer at Touch and Go 25th

I am already a Killdozer fan. I saw their last show 10+ years ago.

Tonight, they were incredible, I have not been floored by a band like this since NomeansNo in 1997.
Such an amazing show and really nice guys as well.

this weekend killed me. trying to keep up with the drinking of all these guys was a chore, but i think i did pretty well.

    i was pegboy's guitar tech.

so i got to hang and meet everybody the last few days.

easily one of the best times ive ever had in my entire life.

scratch acid, killdozer, big black, shellac, negative approach and pegboy all DESTROYED.

drank bourbon for over 12 hours today. now im finally going to bed.

and this show was run perfectly. flawless. even the security was super polite and courteous.

definately the coolest thing ive ever been a part of.

my night was made by seeing big black. they had a couple technical problems, but kicked ass anyway. boy, pezzatti didn't look like he wanted to be there. santiago made up for it in excitement and energy, though.

    four songs:

    cables
    dead billy
    pigeon kill
    racer x

what a great weekend, so far.

    Twas amazing.
Big Black and Shellac from backstage.
Scratch Acid as good as I remembered them.
    Missed Killdozer, though.
Biggest assemblage of Aging/Aged Hipsters I've ever seen.

Very true. A friend of mine described it as "everyone's got fatter and grayer". I fit in both categories

Shellac and Big Black were very good, Pezzatti looked sick and lost on stage.

Negative Approach were really good too.

    Killdozer made my year.
I love them deeply. Has it really been 10 years? I remember their (previous) last show like it was yesterday.

I am used to feeling like an old fart when I go to shows. Not so here.
The wrinkled wrockers were out in force and I felt positively young, as my youth was paraded before me.

Lots of people walking around with tubes full of Jay & Kathleen.
Crosshair pushing here until its limit the bringing together.

"Every single Crosshair poster I've ever seen is almost exactly the same. Do these guys even have a bit of creativity in them? I mean, come one - shitty old building pics photoshopped with text over them. Pretty pathetic to say the least."

"it just seems like so little effort is put into creating this? am i missing something?"
