    first, long beach dub allstars really isnt dub in the true sense

    Start with 'King Tubby versus The Rockers Uptown' by Augustus Pablo
    like lonsome cowboy said
    Check out "blackboard jungle dub" by lee scratch perry
    the names you need to look for are King Tubby, Lee Scratch Perry, Augustus Pablo, Scientist

    Also, check out some of the jamacian DJ's like URoy, IRoy and Big Youth
    try only to get early stuff from each, thats the thing, you get later jamacian stuff, its all drum machines and sucks, but the early stuff is amazing, pretty much 1970's

    there's all the New Zealand dub bands people seem to love too.. most notably Salmonella Dub, Fat Freddy's Drop and the Black Seeds.
    I'm not particularly a fan of any of 'em, but people get pretty fanatical.

    worth a look if you're into that sort of thing perhaps
