    Default new dianogah thing.

i play in a band called dianogah, and one of our best qualities is that we've been around for 11 years.

which isn't saying much, i know.

i was recently looking at google earth, scrolling around eurpoe, and trying to recall which cities i'd been to, and when i was where, which prompted me to work with jason, one of the other guys in the band, on a complete list of all the shows we've played.

the lists is up now, and i know i met some GP folks years ago at some of these shows.

    here's the list.

we've got a couple missing dates/venues/bands , if anyone can help fill in details.

if anyone cares, we're playing with dan maccarthy's band, helms, at the hideout on sat july 22, a week before FS9. we'll be recording a new album this fall. the posters for this show are being printed now, in minneapolis, and they are insane.

This makes me happy. I actually knew about Jay's band before I knew about Jay being a gigantic well mannered paper squirrel machine.

10/18/01 at the black cat - opener was the mighty Viza-Noir!

How do you have time to compile this list?
Crosshair pushing here until its limit the bringing together.

"Every single Crosshair poster I've ever seen is almost exactly the same. Do these guys even have a bit of creativity in them? I mean, come one - shitty old building pics photoshopped with text over them. Pretty pathetic to say the least."

"it just seems like so little effort is put into creating this? am i missing something?"

that was a fun show, dan. fun to see you out of context.

i compiled this list while on the toilet, when not talking on the phone.

actually, it was culled from archived emails and looking at dates on posters collected on GP.com.
