yeah exhumed is great too.

i heard about them both when they were still unsigned. exhumed was a little rough around the edges back then. used to tape trade with em.

my band was on a cd comp for visceral productions that had both bands on it. i think thats how i heard cryptopsy. musta been around 94 or 95. that comp had the greatest bands on it...hemdale, deadhorse, compression, etc. ah the good old days. glad relapse/nuclear blast picked up alot of that stuff.

Mike, if you like Cryptopsy you should check out Origin. I think you would like them.

Exhumed guys are old homies of mine. Good group of dudes. Same with Impaled.

Oh, and yes Gorguts are also from Montreal. They got a little too far out there for me on the later records but the early 90's stuff rules.
