dianogah once went to iceland to play. the promoter had also brought in another band for the same weekend, from the faro (sp?) islands, between iceland and the UK. the band was called TIR, and we were the first native-english speakers they'd ever met. they spoke fine english, and had learned from watching tv.

they were a "sinister" "metal" band, into all the dark witchcraft BS. we had a blast hanging with them, oddly.

anyway, they explained that their favorite american musician was this genius named "DIO", had we heard of him?
