Wolf Mother?

After reading that Early Man thread, here's one about Wolf Mother. I heard one song and thought it was lame. Should I listen to more?

I'm doing a poster for here them Saturday. I haven't heard much either so it's hard to come up with something. Especially when I'm up against Frank Franzetta.

I just saw Wolfmother at the Empty Bottle in Chicago. I was very impressed. They sounded great and they basically had the crowd in the palm of their hand. The lead singer/guitarist is very charismatic. Throw in some Townsend windmils, some Daltry mic twirls, a voice like Cedric, and the ghost of Zepplin, and you have a band that will be huge here in the US. It will be interesting to see where they go after SXSW and the record coming out domestically in May.

I heard some and they sounded like a mix of a lot of things...his voice reminded me of Jack White...

Oh. That show was like two weeks ago. It was at 330 Ritch. I just submitted the poster. I can't really tell you what they sounded like because I got really, really drunk. I very vaguely remember some loud guitars. I also remember eating some cheese-its.
