yeah, the Naz Nomad thing was just a fun concept. the way the artwork makes it look like a soundtrack.

I've read that it was Captain's duty to write a song for The Young One's show, and he started penning "Nasty" but got drunk and pissed it up. Apparently Roman Jugg came in and finished it.
It's weird seeing that show as it's shortly before they kicked The Captain out (i.e. full Phantas line-up with Captain). I have a bird's eye photo of them where they are all in black looking Gothy except Captain looking dumbfounded in a striped shirt and beret. Most of the boot was about dealings with Rat, but I'm sure part of it was Captain not appreciating the Goth road RCA wanted them to travel. I'm glad though as it meant more solo stuff from Sensible (Buy Universe of Geoffrey Brown, my favorite Sensible record and possibly my favorite record of all time (at least top 3)).
I love the Clash to the point of ridiculousness.
And I love the Damned in another ridiculous way.
Saw the Clash in 1982, one of the highlights of my life.
Saw the pogues play with Strummer, that actually almost topped it.
carry on.
I hung out on a golf course eating candy as a kid so I could care less about 1970 London's garbage strikes and who had the right to protest them.
I just like chords and beats arranged in an interesting way.
There are rumors that the Clash could re-form with Rancid's singer tim Armstrong. I'd love that as i love the clash and rancid, i mean i'd take it as an homage to mr Strummer.
that doesn't sound like a good idea at all.
