hmmm, having experienced quite a few funerals (hmmm that reads odd!), I think the cliches of stairway to heaven and tears in heaven totally sucking! Lynard Skynards Free bird also seem apt at a certain funeral but well... As for myself I Groove is in the heart..dee lite... or Sabbaths Heaven and Hell... for two reasons... 1) I really like both songs... and 2) Id get a kick outta hearing em in a church. I kinda cringe at the idea of a slow sappy song, to me the idea would be to play some funky shit, or something rocking... Janes Addictions 3 days would be sweet... If I had to Opt for a slow song Id go for Hendrixs, Little Wing, but only the live version from his Concerts Album.
