    This is exactly why pitchfork is so lame at reviews. Throw a bunch of random style references around, then be cranky and dismissive for awhile. Make people think you're smart, without offering a cogent idea on what this band sounds like.
    Maybe if the Nein weren't being so murkycore.

    the writer can't write. it's obvious by the second sentence. most indie writers suck like this. large vocab doesn't equal good writing.

    i'm huge fan of the murkycore movement. at least, i think i am. this review makes me want to buy a nein record.
