...I can no longer endorse Iron Maiden as my favorite British Metal band. They just put out ANOTHER live album / DVD AND another greatest hits CD.
WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?! they put out one record then tour, record the tour, release the last album live along with their hits, and call it a new album?!?!?! Name me another band that has 7(roughly) live albums / DVD's
They are LAZY...not to mention Bruce Dickinson bad mouthed America and it's Maiden fans...he called us fat and lazy. I'm not f.....most Maiden fans aren't fat.
He said we don't get into it...which is somewhat true. The last maiden show I went to was dead...but HEY, FUCK YOU Dickinson, I paid the $35.00....now sing your goddamned songs you bitch, I made your ass rich fuckface.
I will now give the Favorite British Metal Band to Judas Priest....who were AWESOME when I saw them last month.

Just got back from Gothenburg where Maiden played a show for 60,000 metal heads in a soccer stadium... sold it out in record time and the WHOLE city was full of metal heads in Maiden shirts.... I have never seen that much merch in my life. The show was televized live on Sweden public tv system and basically the whole thing confrims to me that Scandanavia is walhalla for metal music (or hard rock or whatever the hell you want to call it)
The only problem was that all the bars/pubs were filled with sweaty blokes after the concert ended. Plus the whole band ended up in 'my' pub the Dubliners a few times. My buddies from the rival pub Paddingtons organized a football game against the band/crew and they all ended up drinking at the Dubs. They drink a lot
