Who here has not heard of Joy Division----Dark,Poetic and even a hint of good punk rock in the early days,an all around good band-This shoul be spoken of in rememberance since I am drunk and listening to them at the time

I love Joy Division. "Closer" is my favorite of theres...really showed where they were going; desperate, cold, angular. I'm glad to see they're getting more appreciation now for their influence, as are similar acts like Wire and Gang of Four.

Back in the Late 80's my friends and I use to skate to Joy division and the Cure. Odd mix with Suicidal tenedencies, Descendents, Minute men and what not.
