I saw Slint live in NYC (Pyramid Club) way back when and they were super amazing and way better than even they were on their records.

They went on right after Slaughterhouse, the band that used to have all freaks in it puking on stage, wearing diapers, getting naked, strobe lights, and videos of sex multilations, etc.

The singer guy from Slint came on stage right after them and was visibly shaken and said "I dont know what you are expecting to see after THAT, but we aren't like that at all", they then brought out 3 stools and played the show doing nothing except sitting and playing like motherfkers!
