Man, I TOTALLY respect anyone who can work solely with a brush...it takes patience and skill beyond anything I possess.

That's all I do.....brushes creep me out. They're like moustaches on sticks.

One day I will master this brush. The technical pens will be thrown away.

It does take me longer to draw, tho.

Pens will never be able to replicate the variation of line width a brush can bring. It always looks clunkier when you try to "fake" it. I need to practice more.

I can draw really well with brushes but whenever I started using Micron pens a whole world opened up to me. I can totally get great line variations and I feel like I have more control and more room for improvisation. They are better than rapidographs because they flex when you draw. Like Pedini says though, it takes a lot longer.
