that place scared the shit outta me the first time i went there. I'd just moved out from dc and i was 14. shows in dc were no where near as violent.

saw some great fucking shows there though.

it was total chaos...you could buy crack in the alley!

Although I don't have any proof, I believe it. Cops in LB are corrupt as hell..they have a pretty tight grip on what's going on...

but then again, it was a punk club...with all the shenanigans that went on there, it wouldn't surprise me if some joker thought it would be great to burn it down...

Love the first 2 records. After that, I could take 'em or leave 'em. Wouldn't run to throw the disc off the turntable, but I wouldn't slap the wax of those later records down on purpose either.

my first hardcore/punk show was Suicidal with Slap Shot opening for them at the Channel in Boston. I think it was 85/86 great show. S.T. lost it when they started doing all that funk shit.
