    digging up an old post for an update.

    face to face and pegboy are doing a week on the east coast together in sept.

    9/17 – Gramercy Theater – New York, NY

    9/18 – House of Blues – Boston, MA

    9/19 – Sonar Lounge – Baltimore, MD

    9/20 – The Trocadero – Philadelphia, PA

    9/21 – Mr Smalls Theatre – Pittsburgh, PA

    9/22 – The Fillmore @ Irving Plaza – New York, NY

    we may add other dates before and after. should be a good fit and a lot of fun.

    didn't even notice the date of the original posts, thought this was from july 2009.

    i used to listen to them quite a bit back in college, did a cover of decendents' bikeage. i think that bit with the record compnay suit toward the end of the big fun record could have been kept off.

    Face to Face = great band. They never made a bad album, in my opinion.

    Hey, Mikage: Did you ever notice the chorus of Face to Face's "Disconnected" seems to hold a close resemblance to a certain part of the Decsendents song, "Hope"?

    yep, those two lines are definitely pulled from hope...or i would guess they are. an homage so to speak.

    i found out the decendents were getting back together in the 90's from someone at a face to face show. someone kept calling out for them to play bikeage. they said they couldn't do it because the decendents were going to start playing again.


    ahhh...the 90's.

    Yeah, Face to Face does a great "Bikeage" cover. Actually, all the covers they did were great. They nail "Merchandise" by Fugazi.
