what are some good bands worth listening to that arent necessarily famous but you enjoy as much as famous bands?

here are mine
1)Fire When Ready- a diy band that has just recently signed to nyc based Four Leaf Recordings(from first to last's first recording comp. http://www.fourleafrecordings.com) They're stuff is diff. some very punk, some weird and very catchy. Live show is crazy and entertaining leaving u speechless.
Whats really impressive is they are doing their first cd with Michael Birnbaum(new Coheed and Cambria) which is rare for a band to do on their debut cd.
this summer they're playing Warped Tour so if u get a chance check them out.
here's they're stuff its a demo so it doesn't have good quality but u get a glimpse of the style.

2) Brandtson- they just signed to militia group, and i got their new cd in the mail.
lets just say its AMAZING. I expect to see them all over the media soon

3)Fear Before the March of Flames- New cd with equalvision. They have a well heard of live show known for by crazy and out of control style. Very heavy, they will be a top hardcore band soon.

street teams seem like such a jip. unless youre getting tons of free shit i dont see the point. unless its like your friends band and you wanna help em out. and i mean like real friends, not like you met them once after a show and tell everyone youre friends when in reality you blend into every other shmuck who talks to a band after a show.

i remember creeper lagoon sending me a giant package of like 1000 stickers, posters, postcards, all sorts of good stuff. i think i was just on their mailing list, not even a street team. so i included stuff in all the mailorder i did for the next 2 years...after covering everything i own in stickers. thats the way to do it.
