My wifes brother was injured in Iraq. It is pretty bad, but he will live and will hopefuly not have any lifelong injuries. It has been a very heavy deal to say the least.

Dude, he is more of a bad ass than we will ever know. He is hurt though. Really, really hurt. He refuses to stay in the hospital here at home. He wants to be at home in his house. My wife has been up there staying with him since Thursday. She has been dressing his wounds and said his injuries out simply mind boggling. She can't believe he lived let alone isn't in a hospital.

He got shot through the knuckles on his left hand and will be having some sugery on those tomorrow. He told me that is easily the most painful of all the injuries. worse than the bullet in his HEAD!

I love the guy like he was my own brother. He is coming to visit us in a few weeks. I can't wait to see him. I am gonna give him a big hug.
