Alright, i'm thinking it's time to buy a Morrissey album. I could be simple and just buy the new one, or i could ask for your opinion on a good one to buy.

with that, what's the best morrissey album to purchase?

the queen is dead tour was one of the best shows i've ever seen. good album too.

his solo music's okay. he was, of course, in the smiths. therefore, albums by the smiths are, in effect, morrissey albums. my opinion is that the albums that morrissey made with the smiths are, by far, his best work.

I don't really listen to Morrisey and I haven't heard to much of the Smiths so I can't really tel the difference between the two.

I have heard the new album and like it, if that helps at all.

By the tone of your post it sounds like you just "decided" to buy a Morrissey album without even being familiar with his stuff.

You might want to borrow some of his cd's from a friend first, or go to a record store that lets you check out the tunes before you drop some cash for something you might find totally sucky.
