WOW! Their still doing Minutemen stuff together?!?! What an awsome band that was.... I was fortunate enough to see 'em the one & only time they played in San Antonio back in Oct '85! The gig was a last-minute booking (due to their Austin date falling through with less than a week's notice) at the Bone Club.... Man, they pounded the hell outta that famed li'l triangular stage there at the Bone!! Watt & Hurley rattled the walls of that joint, while D Boon bounced around on one toe like a 2-ton ballerina wielding a musical M-16!!! One of my all-time finest gig memories, to be sure!!

Sadly, they never acheived the mega-success they would've (no doubt), as Dennis Boon died in the car crash less than two months after that gig.... Yessir, quite sad....

There were three great flyers for that show (all done by longtime scene fixtures/supporters).... I've got 'em all here in the files, and will try to post 'em on GP very soon! If I can dig up the photos I took at the show (which might be a considerably more difficult task), I'll post a couple of those as well (on a MB thread) if anyone's interested....
In the meantime, here's a flyer for a Firehose show I booked in '88
