first album you ever bought?

I'm pretty sure I bought a tape/CD or two before this, but the first album I remember buying was "Life in General" by MxPx in '96.
I used to sit around and learn the songs on my guitar and redraw the (by Coop but doesn't look like it) artwork.

Damn, you guys have rad first CDs. I think the first I bought that I actually spent my money on was Blink 182 - Dude Ranch, I'm pretty sure Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream was early on too.

however, I got cds as gifts from my parents and growing up was strange...I was only allowed to listen to country (until I was old enough to "rebel") so the first cds that I ever owned were Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Hank Williams, Shania Twain and Meridith Brooks.
