Default Black Dub "In The Studio"

I just found this Youtube. I have never even heard of these guys/girl. I know who Daniel Lanois is.

This is some badass stuff, The drummer is killing it

Thanks for posting these, Henry! Had no idea about this project. I know about Brian Blade from his days with Joshua Redman, then he went off and did his own thing.

No problem Allan, I'm not sure but I think the lady (Trixie Whitley) is Chris Whitley's sister. I only say that cause of the last name and I know that Daniel Lanois did Chris Whitley's album "Living with the Law"

    CORRECTION: Trixie is his daughter

PS: I can't stop playing them

The album is streaming at Exclaim.ca until Nov. 1st. Not bad so far, but I'm not sure if I can get behind this cover of Tenor Saw's "Ring The Alarm" that I'm hearing right now.
