i think they are very disorienting to watch. its somewhat dizzying because it really is like watching a band doublespeed. while getting screamed at and slapped in the face.

I get sick when i hear them as well. I doubt it is for the same reasons though.

Not a huge fan. I tried many times and juat cant dig them.

Luddite Clone , Today is the Day, and Dillinger are about as noisy as I can handle.

I was watching them one timne at the Palace and my hair was blowing from the wind coming off of the monitors. FUCKING LOUD! Motorhead's loud to. Loudest show I ever heard was Slayer in 89.

see i saw them with dillinger last tuesday
upon arriving i felt flushed, dizzy
since the show my lymph nodes are swolen and i'm really achey with a massively sore throat
i'm not joking but the same thing has happened to me at their shows before.
listening to thier records i feel awesome, just the shows make me get sick.
now maybe this is the meds talking BUT i think it might be something to do with the pitch and tones.

i read this really cool article recently about bands using very certain tones pitches and notes to physically effect the audience. it was mostly about sigur ros, i believe. but i wouldnt be surprised if the locust boys had some of that shit up their sleeves.

i wanna do a locust poster.

Loudest band I heard was Motorhead and then The Ramones...I didn't know Today is The Day is still around! Have to check them out!

Maybe the Locust's gear is deadly to you Seripop...I saw a band called Babyland ten years ago and their gear was caustic...something to do with all the crap they were using prior to the show I saw because they didn't really use their gimmicks when I saw them..
