is it just me or does it seem like a lot of band photography these days is a fish-eyed mess of overexposed bright tracers. i suppose its meant to show "energy" and "electricity", but sometimes i just want to see what the band actually lloks like.

I guess I don't mind those photos if they're supposed to be "atmospheric", but if you're trying to just hide your ugly mug then that's just lame. I think band photos (especially promo shots) should be easy to make out and definitly in focus. But hey, I've been known to be wrong before.

Is he the guy that released a series of 24x36 BxW posters wil live shots of NIRVANA, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, etc.? They sold them at The SUB POP store in Seattle about 5 years ago...in that little poster rack on the left wall. I remember the NIRVANA one primarily...Kurt all blurred...

That was him. He also put out these little postcards (editions of 50) of Nirvana, Mudhoney, Melvins and a few others. They were so fucking cool. I only bought the Melvins one. IDIOT

Pick up the "Screaming Life" book. All of the photos are by Peterson. And Art, Trotter, and Peterson did the book design...cool, eh?
It's got a free CD in the back, too.
