Looking for cover art/ whole project collaboration

Greetings

I am overwhelmed by the amount of art on this site. So I will just state what we want, what we have and what we are prepared to do.

1. We have a band called 'Martin and James', who have just finished recording their debut album in Germany. They are from Glagow.

They are both lead vocalists and perform in the vein of Simon and Garfunkel. They were just on tour with Ingrid Michaelson across Europe. The album is out early next year and an ep in September.

They are major label, but it is European and a tape licence, so not the largest budget... but there is a budget


I have no idea what American companies pay for this stuff, so I would appreciate some pointers on that front. There are some pre requirements on this project, as they want to use a headshot of themselves for the album cover.

THEY ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING CLASSIC. A LA THE KINGS OF LEON HEADS, ETC. WE NEED THE EP COVER IN TWO OR THREE WEEKS TIME. AAARGH!

2. We have another band called The Michelles, who we will be rolling out completely independently, they are just mixing their record with Gordon Raphael (The Strokes etc), who is doing them a massive favour because he likes their music.

Although there is not officially much budget on this project, if we can find a long term collaborator, it could easily turn into something special for both parties... and we can generate money off the merch table to pay for art fast (or dip into the managerial pocket)


The lead singer is American and I imagine America will be a major territory for this band.

THEY ARE FUN, AMAZING LIVE AND OPEN TO ANY AND ALL IDEAS.

BOTH BANDS NEED A LOGO AS WELL.

When you say "US4500 for everything" what does "everything" include? That sounds a little open ended and could be interpreted just about anyway.
