    Question Resizing images

Hello, I am new to this forum so please tell me if I posted this in the wrong area. I need to resize an image so then I can upload it to this website. How do I resize images? Thank you so much!

Most of us probably use Photoshop, if you have that it's perfect and easy for resizing. If you don't there are free photo editing software programs out there, but I've not used any of them.

I think you can specify sizes now if you use Photobucket for image hosting too, so you could resize there, save to your desktop and upload probably.

Image shack has a resize function.
You'll probably be using imageshack to post, right?

I have the basic photoshop that came with my printer. I have never used it before. I have it open but I can't figure out how to resize the image. How do you do it in Photoshop? Is it easier to do in Photobucket? If so how do you do it in Photobucket? Sorry, I have never taken any kind of digital art class and I have tried learning how to use Photoshop before and every time I just end up getting really pissed off.

There's a difference between Adobe Photoshop, an image retouching program, and a graphic resizing/retouching program that comes with a computer, Jen. Do you have both?
