Portland area peeps

i've been browsing the portland design job market recently...

it's fuxxing dismal.

you'd think that after everyone has been talking about that portland "design boom" for like the last billion years it would have flippin happened already. the only thing i see booming is the condo business

we should try and have a portland get together sometime after flatstock.

it sucks only being able to talk shit about all youz people behind your backs.

is it really that hard to find a design job in p-town?

or does that go for any job? is the unemployment rate up there?

why is that? too many f-in designers and not enough jobby-jobs?

luckily, i will most likely be able to keep my seattle job and work remotely from portland when i move there soon.

one thing for sure, the housing market in portland is way better than in seattle. more bang for your buck.

i vote for cheap beer as the diesel shop, then spend our hard earned dollars on boobies across the street!!

housing in portland is very stable.

there are NO good jobs to be had and when they do pop up the employer is swarmed with resumes.

i also have a big back yard and a bbq too.

or we can all go bowling or out to a bar or something.

seems crazy that all of us live in the same town and basically never see each other unless we're at a flatstock.
