I had a poster REJECTED by the Slackers last year. The girl on the poster was "TOO HOT". I was supposed to ugly up the girl to look more like one of their typical audience members. All the while I was trying to hit a 24 hour deadline. Needless to say, I added it to my 'Wasted Days'.

A lot of people don't mind doing the design work for free or cheap and than selling the prints off their website to make more than enough money for the project.
