Electro/Rock band from belgium looking for tour poster designer

My name is Grégoire, I'm the leader of belgian band Thot

We will be on tour across Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary in February 2012 (Watch this teaser:Thot - The Vegetal Winter Tour [Official Teaser] - YouTube).


We’d like to involve our fans, in order to make this tour a great experience. We’re sure that many of you are talented, that’s why we’re launching a “tour poster design contest“. Share you own vision of Vegetal Noise Music and how it’s going to be spread along this tour, on stage, offstage, on the road. We will choose the best artwork, and print it as a A2 poster that we’re going to use on tour. The winner will receive this poster, signed by everyone from the band, and all our cd’s, lp’s and t-shirt, and one backstage guest for one of our shows if you’re around. This contest is opened to everyone, obviously.


Be creative, be inventive, don’t give a shit about our own previous artworks, we’re counting on your own feeling and art. (Size is 420*600mm, 300 dpi, Printing Process is CMYK. Download the template here). Send your artwork to thot@thotweb.net with any informations about you. Every artwork is going to be posted on our facebook page. Deadline is 27th December, we will choose and announce the winner on 30th December. Good luck!

By the way, I have plenty of talented art designers around my friends. I could pay them for this work.
However, this contest is made to engage fans (and new ones) into a creative process, around the band. Unpaid, indeed, but thanked with a lot of goodies, vip tickets and more to come.
