Default Looking for a Small Order of T-Shirts

I am looking to do a really small order of different sized T-Shirts (~10) for a guy I work with as a Christmas present. He is a big Elvis fan, and his initials happen to be TWB, so I'd like to do a variation on Elvis' "Taking Care of Business" logo, replacing the "C" with a "W."

I wasn't sure of where to go to get such a small amount of shirts made, or what it would cost, so I thought I'd start here. If you're interested, please send me an email at kevinerwin[at]me.com.

those speedball starter kits at craft stores, really crappy and almost worthless, but good enough for a small run of shirts and learning the very bare minimal basics of screen printing. or this book, The Book, is a good starting point for DIY home printing with a how-to on building your own one color t-shirt press.

Thanks Josh. I'd love to sit down and try to do it myself, but I just don't have the time.

There is a place near me that will do this sort of thing, but its shitty heat transfer type stuff. I wanted to throw it out here first to see if anyone is interested.

I have a feeling this is going to cost you more than you are hoping to pay. Paying someone to make the art as well setting up and printing just 10 shirts, is not going to be too cheap. You might be better off going the transfer route.

if you're going for quality, i honestly can't think of a better, cheaper way than doing it yourself. get the shitty kit and cure it with an iron. would take you an afternoon.

They have soft to the touch heat-applied vinyl for Tees. I would just take to to a place that does this sort of thing on the spot for customers. A buddy got me a big ole number 40 tee for my 40th. I think he did it at the University of Kansas bookstore or something.

How many colors? I may have a guy that you can ask, but he'd have to ship them from Knoxville, TN. Probably not that bad....
