Hey folks.
I'm a producer of not for profit theater (what other kind is there?) here in Washginton, DC
http://newmusicalfoundation.org
This summer I'm producing a new musical called "Who's your Baghdaddy? or How I Started the Iraq War" by Marshall Pailet and A.D. Penedo. We did a show together last year called "Super Claudio Bros", which you can learn more about at http://superclaudiobros.com.
We have honed in on a show image, a cartoon, we'd like to create of a guy in a keffiyeh (an arab head scarf) but, to contrast this, he's also holding lots of bling out, like a rapper. (Maybe the bling is a jeweled oil derrick?) He should have a sly smile like he's gotten away with something. It's got to look good big in posters, on postcards, online but also be graphic enough to shrink down pretty small in festival catalogs. We'll probably run the title "Baghdaddy or..." in a ring around his head.
Email me a rough pencil sketch (or two) along with links to your character work. If we like, we'll pay you $100 to complete and deliver a hi res color image. At that point, we can talk about posters and other graphic design needs.
