We need Posters asap for TOOL West Coast dates....opener RAJAS

My band Rajas is going out to support TOOL on some choice west coast dates, and we’re looking for some unique poster designs. This would be a good opportunity to get your designs in front of 75k people…plus TOOL and their merch guys. Also we’d love to meet artists we can work with in the future. These are NOT for Tool themselves, but for the opening band Rajas. Tool's name will not appear on the prints.
I know this is really short notice, but we just got notified 2 days a go, and it’s been chaos ever since.
Split would be 40/60…40% for us and the venue, 60% for the artist…..120 to 200 posters max.
You handle the printing and shipping, and keep the bulk of the run for resale after the event. We’d really prefer local artists to handle each city if possible.
The main guy in the band LOVES middle eastern themes, Sanskrit, Indian, Pakistani type stuff, but good is good so don’t let that limit you…We’d love to see your work.

July 9th – Vancouver, B.C at the GM Place
July 10th – Seattle, WA at the Key Arena
July 15th – San Diego, CA at the Viejas Arena
July 16th – Las Vegas, NV at the Planet Hollywood Theater
July 18th - Los Angeles, CA at the Nokia Theater

Some other dates might filter in, but they would also be last minute….I’ll update this thread accordingly.

that is a HORRIBLE deal.

Beyond that would it even be legal for the artist to sell a poster with Tools name on it without Tools permission even though the posters were done for you?

The way the business of gig poster design works is the most fucked up thing imaginable. You should be paid for your work. In dollars, not prints. This shit has to change.

So would tool come down on me if I did these prints? Im kind of hesitant. Im sort of dumb with this stuff, I would do this job to break even by selling prints because I love Tool.
