    Default Screen Burning Service?

I remember a few years ago someone on Classifieds offered the service of burning screens. Is anyone willing to do this? I'd be happy to provide a digital image and either pay for your used screen and whatever cost you'd charge to burn and send them, or order new screens and have them delivered to you for burning. I'd need 3-4 screens. Largest image is approximately 16 x 26.

    Anyone? Thanks.

    Thanks for the replies

I appreciate the offer Clint but I'm in Raleigh, NC.

I've actually called a few shops I know of and no one is willing to do it... which I found odd too. I assumed it would be pretty easy to get someone do it for me.

I could burn in the sun for sure but I just don't want to have to buy anything other than screens. I have nowhere to store stuff and really won't use it more than once every few years. Figured this would be a good alternative.

just a suggestion, but start a thread in the SCREENPRINTING forum that says, 'screenprinter near Raleigh, NC' and i think the rats will crawl out from under their exposure units.

also, keep trying the locals in the yellow pages. Just an observation, but most small town (or large town) t-shirt printers are paranoid. A graphic screenprinter would probably be more ready to help.

I think you can find a printer through SGIA - Specialty Graphic Imaging Association or ScreenWeb | screenweb.com | A companion site to Screen Printing Magazine I seem to remember a service you could search by state or location.

Thank you again everyone for the suggestions -- I'll keep searching. I appreciate the help.

It's definitely not rocket science, you're right. Just don't see the need to buy chemicals, coater, etc. just for a couple screens.
