Default Mastodon/Totimoshi tour posters needed fast!!!

    Greetings,
my band has gotten some of the greatest posters from this site, so I thought I'd hit it up to see if there was anyone out there who could crank out tour posters for our upcoming European tour with Mastodon.
Might be easier for us to use a European artist at this point since the first date is Feb. 4 in Milan, Italy and posters would need to be at the club before or by that date. Please contact me directly if anyone is interested and we can talk about details.
dates can be seen at Totimoshi
    my direct email is: megimoshi@yahoo.com

    thanks!
    Meg / Totimoshi

A lack of kick ass posters for Mastodon (esp on the Crack the Skye tour) has been a huge surprise...

    Where they at...

No offense to anyone who made one but none grabbed me thus far.

Im not saying anyone's efforts sucked but I think its just a case of an album having such a huge amount of detail in the music and artwork and you develop all this imagery in your mind and nobody really created a poster that captured it for me...To try and be specific, super dark, deep and ultra spacy themes...Like metal sci-fi.

Keep on truckin, however...Thats the name of the game.

lol.... "To try and be specific, super dark, deep and ultra spacy themes...Like metal sci-fi" Thats kinda what I was going for but I think my drawing style always has a tinge of "cute?" and psychedelic to it. I think the imagery was shooting for dark, deep and spacey with the brain aneurysm, boy dead in wheelchair and gostly Rasputin on the back with the bullet hole in his head. The repeating pattern of Meatrons cube was meant to be spacey. I'm wondering if the color theory just wasn't dark enough. I felt in the end it turned out alot less dark then I intended. I actually wanted to darken it but had to get it to the printer as it was a super rush job not that thats any excuse.....

i appreciate the feed back and though I like the poster, definitely agree with your critique...thanks
