hey guys, i need artwork for this festival im organizing in january 2010. the budget is around 1k
the festival is called "sandcastles festival 2010"
it is on a beach called st kilda beach in melbourne australia.
the vibe is indie bands and djs.
the artwork has to look fun, simple and be easy to read. It is also important to have something that works in black and white or one color.
i want it to be really different to the other festivals this summer

a few pointers before you get torn to pieces...
How much is your budget (remember, you are dealing with professionals here from around the world) you want pro work, post a decent price...
You can't expect anyone to do a concept for you in hopes of getting the job. Either approach someone whose artwork you like and offer them the money and the job, or let people submit a super quick sketch without detail and you can choose from them. NO "everyone do a poster and then we will choose the one we want" type shit...Don't hate me because I'm beautiful, Hate me because I'm an asshole!
Ass, Grass or Cash... No-one designs for free...
