aborted sketch for a Notre Dame shirt I'm working on....the new design I'm working on is going to be a ton better....the only reference I had for this was my naked Darth Maul 12" figure and a couple pics of football players.....

wow. me, too.

hey, jason, when i first started seeing your stuff, i thought you were one of those photoshop/illustrator guys. you know, it's all on the computer. but after seeing your sketches i've realized that you're the real deal. i mean, those drawings are tight.

not that i have any right to pass judgement on anyone's artistic abilities (obviously) but you've got some serious chops. i hope you make a living from that stuff, because you deserve it.

makes me want to practice!

Thanks Mike....I still try to incorporate as much handdrawn stuff into my work as possible, all my linework is done with ink and then I scan it....but over the past couple years I've kind of been troubled by how much using a computer has crept into my stuff, so every once in awhile I try to snap myself back into reality by doing completely handdone stuff like pencil drawings or painting...if I ever get to the point where I'm doing everything in the computer I give anybody on this site permission to slit my throat because then I will have truly lost my soul.

Oh and Mr. Smith.

HOLY SHIT. Those sketches rule. So much personality in them.
