Something I just did . . . It'll probably be for a poster when I'm finished.

Thanks fellas, I'm trying to figure out a style to go with, I draw all the time, and generally I'm happy with the results, but I'm not very consistent as far as style goes.

Here is a precursory inking and coloration . . . but in no way "done."

Old craptastic attempt at sketching:

that turned into a crappy Day of the Dead shrine:

so I have a weird project.
I am working on cd booklet art for the band Noosebomb (ex-Grief)
some of you that know your sludge might recognize the name.
anyway... they want a walrus with gun barrels for tusks.. ha
with multiple arms like brahma...
and they don't want it cartoony... tough/sorta.
so here is my intial 2 minute sketch.
I think I need to head it in a bobba fetta meets nazi exo-skeleton sorta direction. keep it angular I think.

I think I am gonna feed the bullet belts straight into the barrels.
make it a bit of a mechanical cthulu.
any feeback or attack plan ideas would be appreciated.

and yeah... I am new. howdy.

Looks cool - what if the bullets were fed in coming from over the shoulders? A little smoke pouring out of the barrels and have piles of shells on the ground making a type of rock formation (you know like the standard walrus pic but on pile of spent shells instead of rocks).

Not sure about the Boba Fett antenna’s as they make the head area too large, maybe WWII Navy Mark IV gas mask style instead.

I like the armor plated flippers a lot but I don't know if having 6 of them would look better than just the regular 2 as you want it to be recognized as a walrus still right? The wings look out of place unless they are exhaust pipes then they could look great.

Not trying to sound like a dick with the comments but that's the standard feedback I would give for charaters at work
