HDQ - thanks... I like your 2 "sketches" --which one did you think people would rip apart? 2nd one I like better, but maybe just b/c it's currently got all that nice white space... I like white space...
Kraken - I like the demon... demons are always good... and I especially like that your demon has no discernable nipples or navel... I hate when people give nipples and (especially) navels to beasts and monsters... nipples are excusable, but never navels...

Thnaks Phil, yeah the 2nd ones gonna stay pretty bare,the one i thought was gonna get ripped to shreds is the 1st one,Mainly cause it's got impact font ala Jermaine and also i think maybe it's just looking like a cheap Jermaine imposter anway?.

This is the pencil sketch for what will be my first CD design. It's for a compilation of Chattanooga-area bands. I'm currently painting it in gouache and watercolors...I haven't painted in about 7 years so it's a bit of a learning experience.
Anyway, here is the sketch...there is actually more to it at the bottom and that'll show up in the promo posters, but this is the basic layout of the CD.

Hehehe... now that you mention it, I can TOTALLY see why you'd say that. It definitely has a ton of Jermaine influence.
