I always carry around a sketchbook. I sketch on trains, buses, at restaurants...whenever something comes up or if I'm just bored. Often times these sketches become pieces and other times they just kind of lead me into new things. I'm curious how other artists on this site utilize sketchbooks. I'd especially like to see sketches from the books, and even more so what these sketches evolved into.

there were several changes along the way. the process from sketch to ink is my favorite part. It truly relaxes me and relieves stress.
