penelope houston pops up in several scenes. she used to do a lot of punk postering for her band, the avengers, back in the day. i haven't seen her in years. she still looks great (unlike many of us).

i got the DVDs last week. the extra footage is sweet. pretty much it's just an interview with each of the artists but...... that's what's nice about it. it also has the Q&A session from the sacto show but, alas, not the 7pm one from the san francisco show ( that one i would kill to see ).

I once saw a picture of Penelope Houston blowing Dirk Dirkson. It is not an imagine one forgets quickly. Talk about beauty and the beast!

I saw it last night too and really enjoyed it. Even better...meeting Gary Grimshaw, Carl Lundgren and Mark Arminski was great. I've been an admirer of Gary and Carl's work and grateful that I got a few minutes to meet and talk with them.

The DVD is available right now, but only at the screenings. Merle announced last night that it will be available to the public in November.
