This is Thax's Dad. Thax passed away this morning at about 10am. I know he loved the many friends he had in Chicago and I ask that you pray for him this evening.

I just saw him at the Magnolia Electric Company show last Saturday.
He was a true original Chicago weirdo. Who's going to read poems before every gig in town now?

Thax is/was a local Rock Poet who would write poems for bands 5 minutes before
they played and get up on stage and read it before they played.
Every night, sometimes 4 or 5 shows a night.
