POTW is such an arbitrary, random, and subjective thing, that it is hard to feel like the site is missing something.

Isn't it better to see the top discussed posters rather than Clay's random pick?

admittedly, I am not much of a regular user of GP....so my opinions may not apply to your request for discussion.

I agree that, I like the new...

someone commented on a particular poster (a Kozik) how the same posters pop up - well they will in the collections section especially... that's just reflective of people's collections (trades and sales might affect the 'chart' but new, large, 'must have' editions are more likely to be what turns things over) - I can imagine I'll not have a piece feature in there for ages yet, if ever - that's cool with me, that's just how it is.

I loved seeing my pipe-smoking goat in the Top Poster slot this week - at first I grabbed a housemate to show them then later - a friend passed the computer and was "woah - nice one!" and I explained contentedly it had been happening all day... its good, and lots of folk get to share that little buzz... whoever makes the most enticing, curious, gross or controversial imagery I guess.

might not be good enough for you scrojo - but seeing as John A highlighted it, why not start a thread of links to posters that were awarded POTW for archive purposes?

You know...if we put some effort in with the new system we can potentially get that RATT poster to show up in all 4 boxes.

It's like a slot machine!
