i thought it was a good rent(or stream over netflix) and a nice little character study on a sports fanatic.
not sure who was sadder him or his friend in the movie.

the ending was good, but i would have also liked something darker.

that shit was about as dark and sad as u can get.

well, it's hard to discuss what i meant by darker without throwing a big spoiler out there, but i think you know the part at the end that could have made it even darker.

the sad part is that this isn't an extreme exaggeration of sports fan. this country is full of people like this....some a lot worse.

I thought the setup and the characters in the movie were good/great/fine. They just sort of didn't do anything particularly interesting. I love me some Kevin Corrigan.

maybe that was the point? all there is to the big fan is their obsession with sports and arguing idiotically with other big fans.
