it's a weak attempt at making him seem like less of an 'average joe'. because 'average joe' would never use a teleprompter down at the ol' 'watering hole', which is where the 'real america' is.

this i could understand if not for the fact that ALL the recent presidents ( VPs, nominees, wannabes etc ) have used teleprompters. as stated before, Reagan used them all the time and never tried to hide the fact that he had a whole team of speech writers.

i can understand slamming someone from a different party for doing something different than your hero ( right or wrong ) but......... slamming them for doing the SAME thing !!??!! something that can be proven visually in a 3second google search !!!??? where the fuck is the logic in that ?????

The logic is that if one of these talking heads says it then the dolts who watch this crap maintain it to be true and go out into the world and propagate it as fact. And the talking heads know this. Kind of like Goad was saying about his relatives refusing to change their opinions even in the face of actual facts.

and this is the point that absolutely dumbfounds me. if i say that "the San Diego Chargers are the greatest team to ever play football"...... i can dodge around statistics, manipulate subjective history or just deny anything that isn't easily viewed on the internet ( ....... altho my Bolts do rule ). at least i have points to argue. if i say the " Denver Broncos suck because they use a quarterback "......???????
