While there is a profit motive they make about 10x less profit off vaccines than off boner pills and antidepressants. 60 years ago polio was paralyzing 16,000 Americans a year. If that shit was going on now people wouldn't be looking for hazy connections to FEMA camps and autism, they would be beating down the doors of their local clinics looking for medicine. my wife and I are at high risk. we have a 4 month old at home and should get the vaccine, because if he gets swine flu, he'll die.
now we can't because everyone's out and there are huge waiting lists for it. Joe Schmo who is only thinking about himself gets the vaccine.

oh and kids under 6 months can't get the vaccine, hence the reason their parents should get it.

We can't get it hear in NYC yet. It appears that we've been overlooked. Or at least the poor neighborhoods have.

There is a disease, there is a vaccine for the disease. I guess I don't see how this is any different from the 20 odd other vaccinations people get in their lives. It's not like the news is suggesting we all wear tin foil hats. Like I said, it's basic science.
