Default need help with colors

alright, so i finished replacing all of the boards on my porch (all new tongue and groove, oil base primed on both sides and ends) and now i'm ready for the final color coat, but i'm not sure what color to go with. as it is, my house is kind of a light gray (blue based, not brown based) with white trim and black accents (door onto porch and railings). i was thinking about going with a darker grey for the porch floor, but anyone with a little more design sense might have a better idea that i would appreciate.

here's a few pics to show what i'm talking about.

dark cool grey or white sounds good.
dark cool grey would be better...though in charleston the lighter might be better.

glad i could make a strong suggestion.

hard to tell for sure from the second photo but a clear coat might be nice.

yeah, the white primer looks pretty good, but i think white would end up getting dirty really quick.

I would go with the white, while it would show more dirt it will make the area look bigger and it will be easier to see the ground in the dark.

The nice thing about a light color is it will tend to bounce a little sun into the house.

the roof is kind of a rust color now, and it looks pretty terrible. once i get the roof replaced, it's probably going to be painted black (it's a metal roof).

black's not a good roof color if you're worried about your cooling bill.
