What shape is the Hemingway book in? I want it.
And great find, yo. All that stuff is awesome.
Dang Andy, what a treasure.
Back when we were first looking at the house we now own, I went up in the attic and discovered loads of this stuff... the previous (deceased) owner had been a wwii naval vet.
I found among other things photo albums from his time in the Pacific aboard a cruiser... action shots, kamikaze attacks, crazy stuff like that, that must have been unauthorized to shoot at the time. When we bought the house, his brother (the seller) said, "OK, I'll just go clear out a bunch of junk" and I tried to persuade him, 'No, we'll clean up, don't worry about it..." But he went in and got most of his brothers wwii stuff.
Was good enough to leave me piles of Life, Saturday evening post, and Look! magazines from the era... "Japs Bomb Pearl Harbor" and stuff like that.

"Every single Crosshair poster I've ever seen is almost exactly the same. Do these guys even have a bit of creativity in them? I mean, come one - shitty old building pics photoshopped with text over them. Pretty pathetic to say the least." -Ebeaner
"it just seems like so little effort is put into creating this? am i missing something?" -Ebeaner
Those Insignia/Uniform books are real easy to find. Maybe not that exact format, but in any used bookstore with a decent military section there should be at least one or two.
didn't your dad have a Beat fanzine or something going Andy? That's pretty sweet too...
my grand dad had the Insignia book. i use to look at it when i was a kid.
Damn them Krauts dressed nice.
