I think all vehicles on the road should have breaks at the very,very least. You know... as a starting off point.

My main bike is a Huffy beach cruiser with coaster brakes. My back up is a 24" BMX cruiser. I have no gears. One speed. They are both very comfortable. While I can go fast on the BMX, I rarely make an attempt.
