Plight of The Black Rocker
anybody see that last night? it was a documentary about what it's like to be a black rocker. an all black metal band or hard rock band (as opposed to funk or hip hop or blues or jazz etc. etc.) but straight ahead ROCK. basically, they can't get an even break because the"man" wants to pigeonhole black people and deny them access to a white audience.
what 'man'? i thought the record companies collapsed a few years ago. why don't they get on-line and market their stuff direct - just like everybody else has to? any thoughts?

Honestly... I think the average black musician is just a little too good for rock music, stupid white dudes can't take so much rhythm and soul.
