I somehow managed to turn my artboard black again. How the heck do I get it back to gray?

i need to set up an action that will put guide lines 1/8" inside the art boards border and will work for any size art board. is there any way of doing this?

ok, so im sitting here doing seps with paul imagine.

i had a 2 channel file all set up and sepped and saved as a DCS EPS file. i had closed it and opened it and it was working fine. So, we were doing a few small corrections and PSD crashed on us. I re opened the file and one of the channels is no longer there.

Does PSD have a secret ato save backup i don't know about?
