Our UPS driver will pass me up every time if someone is parked in my dock. Then, he'll show up right before I close it down and its 10 F***IN BOXES! I tell him, "why don't you just park outside and bring me these 10 boxes?" He goes on saying that he has all these stops, don't have time, too heavy, blah blah blah!! I'm two blocks away from the hub by the way. Last week, he didn't show up for two days because the dock was being used every time he drove by. What a dickhead?! Also, I have some inside info about these guys and you'll like this. The drivers clock in at 8:15AM and leave the hub at 8:30. Some of them milk the clock by taking breaks and talking shit to everybody. Some drivers are called "hot doggers" because they finish their routes by 5 o'clock (in time for happy hour and they are in their 20's) while the other drivers with a mortgages, kids, bills, alimony, etc will milk the clock and work 4-5 hours overtime. Some of these drivers get paid $25-$30 an hour and they don't give a crap about nobody or nothing. These guys suck!

Yep. They were all set to process my claim then realized that the customer had the package still. "He signed for it, it's with him," they said. "He didn't sign for it he wasn't even in the state, no body signed for it," I responded. So close to getting restitution after talking to 4 different agents.

it fucking infuriates me when the drive signs for it and leaves it in the doorstep.

The driver on my route in SF couldn't figure out how to operate my doorbell. I even wrote instructions explaining that you have to press the button. I'd be home all day waiting for shit and go out and find a notification stuck to the door telling me that I wasn't home when the delivery attempt was made. Fucking repeatedly.

I've had this exact same thing happen with UPS and USPS.

My favorite though was the package that was returned to the sender due to "No Apartment Number Provided." Well no shit. I don't live in an apartment

Umfortunate events, but probably one of the most educational threads I've read here in awhile.

Any carrier rcommendations for shipping 50 18x24 posters to Germany? Sounds like ups is out. Fedex or usps?
